Help Me Win! 10/29/2008

Hey guys, I just entered this contest that allows people to come to the site and vote.  For this contest I don't really win anything, but would still love it if you came and voted for me.  Soon I will be entering a contest that the prize is for a Canon camera that I  would really love to win for Alex :)  If you do decide to go vote for me you can actually vote on my photo the same amount of times as there are entries.  After your first vote you will have to scroll through the thumbnails and find my pic. again and click on it to bring it back up so you can vote on it again.  I hope that made sence.  It should make better since once your at the site.  Thanks in advance for any one who takes the time out to do this for me.

Help Me Win a Camera!

O.K. if you only want to fool with voting once, then please vote on this one.  Here is where the prize is for a camera.  My son Alex is really interested in learning photography.  That is kind of hard to do with out a camera, lol.  And I'm not letting go of mine :)  I would love to win this and give this to him for Christmas.  Just think all who vote could possibly be a part in giving a child what he wants for Christmas.   Am I pulling at your strings yet?

Today Warren and I took the kids to a pumpkin patch, to pick out some pumpkin's of course.  It was my first time at a pumpkin patch.  Well come to think of it, I think it was a first time for all of us.  Anyway, we had a blast and the kids got to see some cotton fields.  Now I wished I had taken a picture of them.  I took the advantage of telling the kids how people use to hand pick the cotton.  Here is my darling Alex with his pick... I've got to talk him into a trim.  I miss seeing his handsome face.

Here is my sweet Allison with her pumpkin.  I kind of figured she would be the last one to pick hers out, but I was wrong... It was Warren, what was I thinking?? :)

Madison with her find. :)  These pumpkins are heavier than they look.  Madison and Macey got lucky, some how they were the only two who didn't have to tote their pumpkins back to the hay ride.

P.S.  I just noticed that this is not the pumpkin that Madison ending up coming home with.  We noticed that bad spot in this pumpkin and she picked a different one, but I never took another picture.

And here's Macey with hers, lol, no just kidding. :)  Macey picked out hers by taste testing them, LOL!  After 4 kids you finally realize that dirt and bugs won't hurt them. :)

Can you see that little white dot?  That is Warren trying to find Macey a little pumpkin.  He went all the way to the back of the patch where no one else was going.  Still no itty bitty pumpkins.

I saw this pumpkin with the leaves and shadows on it that look like a face.  I took a picture of it and thought I would share it with you.  Look at those big pumpkins!  I don't think I have seen one that big in person before.  I think I heard them say they were selling those for around $50 bucks. :O

O.K. I'm sorry to change things around on you guys.  I have decided to start blogging here for several different reason, which I won't bother you with:)  The only thing I hate is that I can't seem to find a way to import my old blog from blogger to this site.  I have created a link in the side bar so you can still go back and re-read any post's that I made.  Anyway, I should be pretty stationary on this site for a while.  I have been working with it for quiet some time now.  I apologize if I have caused any trouble.  As for now I haven't been able to get an email subscription on here, but hopefully soon I'll figure something out.  Thanks to all my reader for stopping by and I really hope you remember to check back in:)
